How to request deletion or another right
This page is the external account-deletion resource for the Privacy Pet Tag website and mobile apps, operated by CLJE Ltd. You do not need to have the Privacy Pet Tag app installed to request deletion.
If you can sign in, you can request account deletion through your Privacy Pet Tag account. If you cannot sign in or no longer have the app, email support@privacypettag.com and ask us to delete your Privacy Pet Tag account and associated data. Please contact us from the email address registered to the account where possible. We verify identity proportionately before irreversible account changes.
What happens after confirmed deletion
Privacy Pet Tag disables account/public tag access promptly after confirmed deletion and erases linked operational data. Active tag and access relationships are ended so they do not continue to represent the former account.
Information that may remain
Legally necessary financial, security or safety evidence may remain restricted or anonymised for the applicable retention period. The erasure itself may be recorded using a pseudonymous audit identifier so we can evidence that the request was completed without retaining the former customer identity in normal operational records.
Backups and media
Associated pet-photo objects are removed from object storage during erasure. Encrypted backups expire through the normal backup rotation rather than being individually rewritten.
Access reports
Access reports are designed for people: labels and dates are readable, reference values are translated, relevant tags/media are included, and unnecessary table names, internal identifiers, secrets and raw encrypted values are excluded.
